Publications produced by the Association are meant to address the informational needs of its membership, legislators and regulators, as well as California consumers.
Updated information regarding revised filing procedures and new regulations, as well as changes to the LASLI, are disseminated to the SLA membership through bulletins. The Association also publishes a quarterly newsletter containing a report from the Executive Chairperson and a review of the transactions for the past three months.
The Association provides brochures that describe the development of and ongoing need for both a reliable and accessible surplus lines market, and the regulatory requirements created to protect consumers when they seek to procure insurance from a surplus line carrier.
